'Hope' | 2021 Second Annual Ornament

Two red birds in my yard were the inspiration to paint as my 2021 Annual Ornament. I watched them throughout the year. These songbirds are non-migratory, remaining in the same place throughout the year, even if it means withstanding harsh climates. This makes them symbolic of strength, courage, and loyalty. A lot of red birds have many different symbols, but first they symbolize passion. Red birds are also symbolic of health and well-being. There's a saying that seeing a red bird in your yard is a loved one that passed. It always makes me feel comforted and gives me Hope. So I send these 2 little red birds out together to bring Hope to whatever is in your heart.

Each ornament is hand painted with acrylic on paper. Mat is personalized with 2021, framed with a silver leaf finish and hung with a velvet ribbon.
