Coracle

Our world is tethered through technology. ‘Coracle’ is a result of my personal experience of Zoom calls and friendships formed with people across the globe. 

A ‘Coracle’ is a small, rounded, lightweight boat made by hand (sustainable). Used in Wales, Ireland, Vietnam, Iraq, and Tibet. 

With these new connections, I envision hopping into my tiny boat and paddling straight through the portals, a direct line to my newest friends. 

‘Coracle’ was created alongside ’Portal Flight’. They are sister paintings representing the pandemic of 2020 and connectedness through technology.
