Leaps+Bounds Notecard

Leaps + Bounds was created from an energetic color study and exploration of new art supplies. The main focus of this piece is layers of different mediums overlapping and exploring how the products respond to one another. I started with vertical lines for my base layer, building colors with each application through a variety of strokes and colors. The playful application represents the positive energy I feel (most days). Repetitive lines create movement and emphasize how my own life is progressing by Leaps + Bounds. The curves carry you up, through, and around the entire piece.
