Near The Shore Art Print

One of my passions is upcycling and sustainability. This piece began with upcycling and giving a discarded object new life. The canvas was primed when I received it so I don't know what was under the white primer. I sat with the canvas for a while and continued to feel moved to paint water. Using black paint, I created a loose landscape and continued to be led by intuition.

Not worrying about my marks, painting with excitement as I overlapped colors and created swirls indicating movement. The energy of color created a high vibration as I continued building the layers. Thick texture of paint hangs off the canvas adding to the energy and depth of 'Near the Shore'.

Museum-quality giclee print reproduction on heavy watercolor paper or canvas. Original painting is Abstract Acrylic Mixed Media on a 55x60in repurposed hardboard canvas.
