Portal Flight

While the world was glitching from the pandemic in 2020, I was called to my studio. Feeling frustrated and confused from misinformation and the unknown of what was yet to come, I escaped through paint. My mind began to find comfort from the repetitive loops.

The loops became little portals, giving me a glimpse of color and hope. As our world transitioned to virtual meetings and schooling, our new found way of living was through onscreen portals. I made connections with people all over the world. New found friendships developed and I felt free from the chaotic holding pattern our lives were in.
The feather symbolizes the feeling of spreading your wings and being truly free.
